Ultimate Pork Dry Rub

IMG-8203Add some new flavours to your pork and even chicken dishes! Great for grilled, roasted or even sous-vide meats! This one is a cinch and is the perfect balance between smokey, sweet and a touch of heat. Try seasoning your next batch of pork chops, pork skewers, cauliflower steaks or chicken breasts with this dry rub. Store in a mason jar and keep a batch of this mixture on hand all year long!

What you will need:

  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • ¼ cup salt 
  • ½ tsp. Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. Paprika
  • 2 tbsp. Chilli powder
  • ½ tbsp. Cumin
  • ½ tbsp. Onion powder
  • ½ tbsp. Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. Cayenne pepper

 

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients into a medium sized bowl. Toss to thoroughly combine. Use a funnel to transfer spice mix into a mason jar. Will keep for up to 1 year.
